North Augusta – I-20

The I-20 Resurfacing project in Aiken County, SC for the SCDOT stretches from mile post 4.6 to mile post 39 on I-20. The total contract value for this project is $17,573,784. The project consists of removing all open grade friction course by micro milling the surface by approximately 90,000 square yards, placing 90,630 tons of surface B mix, placing 37,823 tons of open graded friction course, patching 60 cubic yards of concrete on 6 bridges, and installing 70 miles of rumble strips.

The completion date was November 30, 2017 and although there have been setbacks due to large amount of rain days, emergency restrictions imposed by SCDOT due to the Solar Eclipse and Hurricane Irma, we met our deadline.
