Dooly County Interchange State Route 27 and I-75:
The grading work for this project started with the assistance of a crew from R.B. Baker (Jack Deloach, Bobby Maloney, Shannon Deloach, and Verrick Davis) as well as employees from the West Region (Anthony Wright, William Talley, Scott Day, and Sean Daly). Since the beginning of September, an estimated 100,000 cubic yards of asphalt has been placed on the west side of the interstate. The project is currently 30 feet deep. The grading crews have begun their work on the east side of I-75 relocating two roads to allow for the new location of the north bound ramps.
North Columbia Street, Milledgeville, GA:
This project is located in the West region and consisted of 1.194 miles of milling, inlay, plant mix resurfacing and single surface treatment paving on North Columbia Street in Milledgeville, GA. The project consisted of a 5-lane section of road and a 3-lane section of road. Due to the heavy traffic on this stretch of road, all work had to be completed at night.
