West – Dooly County Interchange State Route 27 and I-75

The grading work for this project started with the assistance of a crew from R.B. Baker (Jack Deloach, Bobby Maloney, Shannon Deloach, and Verrick Davis) as well as employees from the West Region (Anthony Wright, William Talley, Scott Day, and Sean Daly). Since the beginning of September, an estimated 100,000 cubic yards of asphalt has been placed on the west side of the interstate. The project is currently 30 feet deep. The grading crews have begun their work on the east side of I-75 relocating two roads to allow for the new location of the north bound ramps.
