The I-85 Rehabilitation project is located in Spartanburg and Greenville County from the intersection of I-85 and Highway 14 to the intersection of Highway 129 and I-85.
Over the course of the project, Sloan will have placed over 108,000 tons of asphalt and removed 373,500 square yards of milling. Sloan paving crews, traffic control, and trucking have logged 36,500 hours since the beginning of the project. This does not include the time put in by the plant, subcontractor, trucking department, SCDOT, and management team. This job has required a team effort since the beginning.
We are in the mill and fill phase of the project and we have completed approximately 75% of this activity. The project is set to finish as planned, in December 2017. Completing this project on budget and on time will be a well-recognized achievement by SCDOT and Sloan competitors in the upstate.
