Richmond County Resurfacing Project

Starting in August of 2009, our East Region will  begin construction on a 4 lane highway in Richmond County. It will consist of  9.945 miles of milling, inlay, plant mix resurfacing and shoulder reconstruction on SR 4 beginning north of Sandy Run Creek and extending south of CR 1503 (Tobacco Road) with approximately 37,050 tons of asphalt.  


 

Charleston, South Carolina

I-26 concrete patching project on from approximate mile maker 212.22 to mile marker 218.7.  This project consists of concrete patching, diamond grinding, joint sealing and miscellaneous other work types throughout the six miles of Interstate both East and West Bound.  The major items of work on this project include 67,000 SY of concrete patching. 

 

 


BURKE COUNTY RESURFACING PROJECT

In August of 2009, the East Region will begin construction on a 2 lane highway that will consist of 15.076 miles of plant mix resurfacing, single surface treatment paving and shoulder reconstruction on SR 24 beginning west of SR 80 and extending to the Jefferson County line with approximately 28,300 tons of asphalt.  

 

STEPHENS COUNTY RESURFACING PROJECT

In July of 2009, Tugalo Region, located in North Georgia, started a project on SR 17/365. This project consists of 6.082 miles of resurfacing and shoulder reconstruction on a 2 to 3 lane road. The job includes approximately 19,000 tons of asphalt of which 12,000 tons are recycled asphalt 12.5 mm Superpave modified with crumb rubber.

 

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY RESURFACING PROJECT

In July of 2009, the Midstate Region began a project consisting of 13.237 miles of milling, inlay, plant mix resurfacing and shoulder reconstruction on US 221/SR 56 beginning at the Toombs County line and extending to CR 70, Church Street.
